Well…our history is that we start upgrades late and lose coaches as a result. But since we already lost one coach and had an active capital campaign underway before the previous coach left the only recalibration they likely are doing is finding the balance to fund the financial changes caused by the settlement (which is only proposed as far as I am aware.)

I've noted there is a bit of a financial hole to fill in the form if the new school loan and the conference loan for the Covid-19 revenue shortfall anticipating the new revenue upper. We need fans to be energized to pay off the bonds, too. I think the Earley hire checked that box and gave us a better financial profile for staff costs as well. Win win.

But 32 scholarships is huge…btw if that takes effect.

RC was fired for one. Gillispie left in part due to not breaking ground on the dev center. Jo received the upgrade too late. RC got one but didn't capitalize on it either. Henry seems to be the one that has made best use of the upgrades especially using the first indoor track for training for multiple NCs. Coach G likely won't outlast the lack of a new upgrade and development facilities. The footdragging on Schloss didn't help. Though maybe that was a good one to lose.

Luckily he's a smart man and accept the HC job here in God's Country

It's like when F16 wanted me to resign my commission and leave the Army so I wouldn't get the Covid Vaccine! I got bills to pay people and a family to support!
