Howdy,

I'm looking to take my 11-year-old son to his first Aggie baseball game on Saturday, February 22nd at 2 pm again Cal Poly. I may take the whole family of 6 if I can swing it. Reserved tickets on Seat Geek were pretty expensive so I was looking at perhaps buying General Admission tickets but we won't be able to get to the game early. Will probably arrive right at 2 pm or so. I had a couple of questions since I hadn't been to an Aggie baseball in a long while:

- Is General Admission only Section 202, 203 and then the lawn area up the first base line?
- Does GA typically fill up in Section 202 and 203 for Saturday afternoon games? I was hoping we could buy GA and get a seat in Section 202 or 203, if possible, but unfortunately we won't be able to arrive early.

Part of it will depend on weather. You are probably looking at the berm or sec 12.

What's the berm ? And is section 12 open all year for general admission ?

Berm = lawn on the first base side.

I feel like sec 12 was closed for some midweeks and restricted to students for some big games but it's been a year and I never tried to sit out there.

Unless they've blocked it off you could always try Aggie Alley… don't need a ticket and if you get all the way back up against the Rec you can see just fine. Could probably even catch a HR ball if the wind is blowing out.

All that being said… wait until the game is closer and I bet you can snag a reserved ticket or GA ticket for pretty cheap either on the ticket exchange here, at the ticket window, or on SeatGeek.
