He took over the run away pre season #1 team in the country and has prepared us in a way that we do not look anywhere near a Top 25 team. We gave up more runs to Elon than Binghampton did this weekend. And UCLA (picked to finish in the bottom of the Big 10) outscored Cal Poly 34-2 in a sweep and then UCLA lost to A&M Corpus Christi yesterday. The offense is awful (12 Runs against Cal Poly). The Bullpen is awful, and the Defense is awful. There are no excuses to be this unprepared for the season and look this bad. 10000000% on Earley. I was so excited for this baseball season and I just can't believe how bad we look in every phase of the game besides starting pitching.

We are not looking great, but I think it's real early to be drawing too many conclusions. A few things:
1. This is baseball. Weird stuff can happen to any team.
2. We are the #1 team in the country. We're going to get everyone's very best every weekend.
3. The weather the last two weekends has been about as bad as it gets.

Yes it's too early you putz. Why are we the whiniest fanbase around?
