The problem with that is they played well in D1 baseball in the past. If the transfer players played well at the beginning and then started struggling in SEC play, you could maybe say they just weren't as talented as we thought they were coming in. But, that isn't what happened as they have been struggling all season even when not playing elite competition.
Kash's numbers the last two seasons at tech were higher than what he has done so far this year. Same with Galloway. Same with Bergevin.
Combine that with Jace, Schott, and Grahovac (when he was still playing) struggling to come anywhere close to last year's numbers.
Having injuries doesn't help. but our main issue isn't injuries or talent. The healthy players we have aren't playing up to the talent level that they have proven they can play to in past year. THAT is what makes people on this board so frustrated. We can understand the issues with injuries, but having SO MUCH of our lineup regress from last year (even if it was with a different team) is SO VERY FRUSTRATING!
