I was at the game yesterday and understand that walk up songs and the like are just for fun, but maybe our players need to read the room a little bit and try to humble themselves at this point. It doesn't look great for Jace to walk up to "here comes the money" when he's not even batting his weight. Seems overly arrogant and ridiculous when you're performing the way you are.

I think this team was reading the papers all offseason long about how great they were and thought they were just going to breeze right back to Omaha.

Maybe a little humbling and self-reflection should be in order.

Almost every 21 year old stud athlete IS immature and arrogant. And trying to produce for the money they will earn at the next level.

The concept of NIL has broken some of ya'lls brains.

Jace is one of the few reasons I watch the games right now, elite athlete. plus he's an A++ person. I'm cool with it.

The '22 team looked like hell until the LSU series. The '23 season, well let's just not talk about that. Last year we had a slump in the SEC.

No one suggested changing it then. Hell, most folks probably didn't even know what it was. It doesn't look immature or whatever else nonsense. It's just his walk-up.

I keep thinking about the '22 team. This team reminds me of them. The struggle at the start was real.
