Early talked about how hard they are practicing. Pounding lots of hard ground balls at them, etc. But I don't think it's a mechanics or lack of repetitions thing. They are tight and pressing, probably for Early.. Maybe he should just lighten up and bring some fun back into practice. They need a mental break IMO.

While your argument is valid and could work, I think that Earleys light nature and "one of the guys" approach might be what's wrong. Schloss was a **** but that kind of set fear into our players to preform. I could be totally wrong on it but I think you have to find a mixture of both.

And they could have played last Monday, and could play this Monday.

And no one here will ever know, bc Schotty is adept enough to read the room on how he posts on social media.

Him and every single other college baseball coach in the United States. LOL

Pitchers do all sorts of weird **** both during and after practice - at the collegiate and professional level

Vitello is a players coach. That has cost Tennessee dearly at times. However, the cost is usually in undisciplined behavior and in their case, they still had a good team with sound offensive, defensive and pitching strategies.

We're in a different stratosphere right now.

These guys have been practicing fundamentals since they were five years old and playing nonstop since then. If they don't know how to play baseball by now, no amount of practice will make a difference.

If I was the coach, I'd play Tuesdays game and then take them to do something fun on Wed and Thurs and loosen them up.

Try it on practice day then. All the heavy practice should be over by season start anyway. If you don't have it done by then it's too late. 4 games a week is plenty.

I don't agree with all of this. Maybe one day, but that's it.

That means, they would play on Fri, Sat, and Sun, then if they get Mon off, they could go screw around. Then a game on Tuesday. Then you are saying go and screw around again on Wed and Thurs?? No thanks. Definitely go and have some fun one of the days, but put attention to what is needed and prepare for the upcoming weekend

We have a crap ton of errors right now. That can be worked on. Go watch more video of why we are swinging and missing at all of these pitches? Watch video and practice why we are popping up everything? Go and watch video of why we can barely score multiple runs in an inning (let alone a game) unless it's against sub-par competition. Plenty to work on, but I do think they should take a day off and mess around and have fun together.

I truly think he's such a good guy, and that's the reason he seems not to be answering the questions specifically. He doesn't seem to want to blame anything and be the "bad guy", so he doesn't address any specifics. The motivational aspect of his personality doesn't seem to be hitting, either. Granted, I bet he is working on lots of stress, disappointment, and lack of sleep. I'm hopeful for everyone, mostly himself, he turns around.

In organizations there are two types of persons: leaders and subordinates.

Some persons are better at being leaders and proverbially calling the shots for an organization as the leader. Other persons are better supporting and helping a leader to make an organization succeed. Subordinates need good leaders to mentor and guide them while good leaders need quality suborndinates to help them carry out their organization's missions to achieve organizational goals.

Earley is a great subordinate who under the Peter Principle was promoted based on their success in his previous jobs until he reached a level at which he is no longer competent. He is not a leader and should not be in a leadership position, at least not at this point in his career. He needs to be supporting a leader, not serving as the leader.

Earley is a good person, a great subordinate, but is an incompetent and ineffective leader.

Somebody in the Aggie administration needs to address this issue and problem, immediately, likely by replacing Earley and replacing him with a leader who can turn the Aggie Baseball Team around this early 2025 season.

That person is Trev Albert's. Question is, would he ever have the ability to recognize he messed this hire up and move in a new direction. Or is he so smart that none of us see what he sees in Earley haha

I wasn't suggesting this for the entire season. Just two days to get the flow back.
