As we start our first true road series, I'm curious what are people's favorite road venues? Could be because of the stadium, the fans, or the city the school is in. Just curious where people like to go other than Olsen.

A&M hasn't played there since the renovation but Oklahoma State now has the nicest ballpark I've ever been to.
For sake of the conversation and reference, Dan Law Field at Texas Tech is the worst ballpark I've been to in terms of fan experience.

I imagine LSU fans are worse at home than they are when they visit Olsen? Or is that not the case?
LSU baseball fans are not that bad. Not great, but better than their football fans.tonytx05 said:

DBU's park is a very pleasant place to watch a game.tjack16 said:
I like Alex box a lot
My road trips for baseball (besides Omaha and neutral sites) have been limited to Texas, Rice, UH, Sam, DBU, LSU and Tech
DBU is pretty nice as well.
Whistling is a lot worse on TV than it is in person. As long as you aren't in close proximity to the whistler, it's a very minor annoyance. Microphones pick it up and amplify it on TV.aggiedaddie said:DBU's park is a very pleasant place to watch a game.tjack16 said:

Pioneer Park in Auburn has always been pleasant too. They have that one slightly overzealous and self proclaimed cheerleader, but he isn't insufferable.
I had intended to ask if the Vandy Whistlers whistled at Vandy. I watched last night's game on tv. They do. I don't care what the Vandy coach says, it is irritating as hell and I can't imagine Vandy fans would not love to have them removed permanently.
