At least UK is competing... they lost 2 games to a ranked team by 1 run on Friday and Saturday.

All six SEC losses by the Ags were close games late to ranked teams.

Coaching staff's are paid to win and the good coaching staffs find a way to win games like that. See last year.
We were a consensus number 1 team in the country and now we look like a team that won't make the tourney but at least we played close games I guess.

JK was pointing out the fallacy of the Kentucky argument, where they have been at least competitive against ranked teams. I don't think it was excuse making.

A little more likely to beat Mizzou, I think. If ever there was a year to have Mizzou on the schedule, it's this one.

All but three SEC head coaches have lead a team to Omaha besides Earley so it is going to happen more often than not although we will (or already faced) those three coaches; Vaughn (Bamaa), Jackson (Mizzou) and Wes Johnson (Uga).
Mizzou lost a weekend game to SWAC team by eight runs.. For all our problems, we've been able to win rather easily our two games against the SWAC. They have a worst record the we do against a schedule that has been significantly easier than ours according to SOS. That being said, they have been able to put runs on the board in their SEC games, so that is a tad disconcerting considering our offensive woes.75AG said:no. Its not going to rain all day every day. Friday looks the diciest, but rain chances decrease in the evening and aren't as high Saturday and Sunday. We should get all 3 games in.75AG said:

I mean they're 6-3 away. 2-4 in SEC.
Only team worse than us in the SEC to this point is Mizzou. Let's not get ahead of ourselves until we actually see any pattern of us remotely playing as a team that can consistently win against halfway decent opponents
