If you're in charge of making the lineup tomorrow what's it look like? Assume Sorrell can't field yet. Here's mine:

1. Kiel RF
2. Henseler 3B
3. LaViolette CF
4. Harrison C
5. Kent SS
6. Sorrell DH
7. Kash 1B
8. Farr LF
9. Royo 2B

I like the lineup. I've been wanting Kiel in the leadoff for weeks now. Kent needs to get out of the mini slump and Schott just needs to sit.

Early has got to put Kiel in the leadoff spot. Kent needs to be in cleanup behind Jace. Sorrell, if healthy, in the five spot behind Kent.Bear in the 6th spot, gives us 6 good bats to push a couple of runs across every other inning. Anything out of the bottom three just sets the table for Kiel at the top of the order. This team's batting order shouldn't be hard when it's so obvious.

I agree that Kiel needs to be somewhere other than cleanup, but I don't think Kent belongs there either. Frankly, I think Kent may be trying to do too much. He had a great run in the postseason, but now that there is film on him, he's reverting to the mean a bit, and I want to put him in a position where he doesn't feel the need to be a slugger. My candidate for cleanup right now would be Harrison.
