Yes it is bad. However, I will say that Prager and Lamkin in normal form should go deeper and with a lead so you don't have to see that many RP's asked to go long with the game on the line.

Really don't think it is the worst bullpen ever, it was going to be imposible to replace our record setting bullpen from last year.

However, one thing is for sure.
This IS the worst team we have ever fielded in baseball and this includes the coaches. No team all individuals.
Let's hear what the head guy is going to do - let's hear the plan now. What? No plan?
No plan to improve hitting, pitching, fielding?

This is just a symptom of why even as we give $100Million to former coaches not to coach, A&M will be losers in all 3 major men's sports now for years to come.
We gave this guy a guaranteed contract so it will add to the 1/10th of a Billion $.

A&M needs a visit from DOGE - this can't just be the stupidity of guaranteed contracts, where is the money actually going and who is getting cuts of it?

Man, we really better hope that Kentucky leads the country in homeruns and extra base hits at the rate they've tagged everyone of our pitchers except Moss (and they smoked a couple on him too!).. Without the wind even being strongly blowing out, I don't remember sitting through two games where the other team hit line drives and no doubt homeruns as often as Kentucky's guys all the way from No. 1 thru No. 9 in the line-up. It looked like team batting practice vs our Ags but with even more impressive hitting. At the Ags' best last year, I don't think we ever smoked as many balls as Kentucky did today.

Won't have the worst record, won't have the worst stats, and won't have the worst talent ranking.

IS NOT A TEAM plays like individuals, thete is no Olson magic on this team and the coaching is the rock bottom

So far in this two games series the starters have given up 13 earned runs in 8 innings of work and the bullpen has given up 7 earned runs in 10 innings of work.

Yep. I was in and out during the game but couldn't believe Wilson was held until after so much damage was done.

Wilson has been hit or miss, but I would have preferred him over Freshcorn who has been all miss. (Except for those batters he hit)

It's been a LONG time since I've seen an Aggie baseball team blow this many leads AND lose this many mid-week games to traditionally lesser teams. I know the team took a mental hit when we lost Gavin, but the meltdown is truly unexplainable.

We were a few outs away from winning a CWS last year. We just made a really bad coaching hire. Maybe the worst hire in school history in one of the big 3 sports.

This team could finish with the worst record in 25+ years. Granted the SEC is a lot better than the Big 12 was so even with a worse record this could theoretically be a better team.

The freshcorn experiment is over. It HAS to be. Had too many chances and absolutely not getting it done. Needs to be Peyton-Smith'd and chained to the bench for awhile
