Yes, it was a nice Saturday, but let's tap the brakes a bit. We are 3-9 in league play. If we are able to get 0.500 or better at seasons end, then there is a reason for a little optimism. Remember, this is the same team that was swept by Bama and Vandy, and lost a series at home to Kentucky.

Can't overstate how good this series win was. Just shocking. It's like the team finally remembered how to play at a very high level

i have played on very bad baseball teams. this series win is very big because it shows they haven't quit. if they haven't quit it ain't over yet. i have been on teams that have. those teams don't come back and take two after being no hit. especially against number 1 team in the nation on the road. long ways to get your self in contention but you can't find a better way to start than this. have to tip your hats to them now go do it again.

Amen to that. Shot in the arm for them. Proof they have it in themselves to turn it around

The lowest of low points of the season (Friday) to the highest point (so far) on Saturday. Simply an incredible turn around and shows this team does have fight in them.

Long, long ways to go but it was just great to see the boys happy and having fun playing the game.

Wrong. We just need to get to a 13-17 record in the SEC, and we'll be in the postseason easily.

Especially considering 5 of our final 7 series would've been Top-7 teams in the nation which began with Tennessee.

Glad Caden Sorrell was healthy enough to get back in the lineup. It's obvious his addition to the team made it better during the UT series. Also, hat tip to Coach Early for pinch hitting Schott…it paid off bigly.

13-17 in the SEC with a win or two in the tormurnament should be good. That would be 10-8 down the stretch.
