I was casually following the game but left the thread down 12-3. I was quietly wondering if this signaled a return to our earlier "state" and the brief resurgence was over...

When I saw a post a couple hours later (I was looking for softball score) that indicated we MIGHT have won, I opened up the thread and started going through it at 12-5. I was amazed at everyone's positivity. Y'all are good and true Ags, and your loyalty was rewarded!

Keep it up and Gig 'Em!

I was staining a fence so listing to broadcast only, and following stat tracker, through middle of bottom of 8th. Only then did I start watching, feels like a cheated.

win or stink, i'll always be there.

aggie baseball is more or less a religion to me at this point. not sure how the others feel, but that's how I do.

I courted my wife on a really ****ty olsen field, and I am class of 07, so we sucked for a lot of it....

that's not the point, though. The point is that I have told myself is to always support the Aggies. They are kids, playing a kids game. Also, baseball is a really ****ing hard game to play.

I wont ever have to go back as a middle aged man, and regret hoping for the best of them. I will when I criticize and come out sounding like a dumbass, which sometimes happens, but as I get older and my kids grow up, I am working on that.

If they get run ruled and I cheer on the 9 hole hitter...OK, well at least I was being positive. Dont have to go back and regret that.

They are kids, after all, and every single one of them want to win. That's why I got so bristly with the 203tards heckling Max.

Everything else is just a fun ride. And that's life.

Class of 89 here. But aside from the "we sucked" part (we didn't), this post is 100% spot on.

There was a point this year where I told Trouble I had to stop watching, but I was back the next game and even created the brokeback baseball meme. Since then we are 7-1. I knew the baseball we played earlier in the year didn't represent the potential of the team. I'm glad to see them turn it around. And hope we keep the momentum up.

Not hard to do if you truly love it. And not hard to love a team that doesn't ever give up.

Exactly. My heart was breaking for them in the middle innings yesterday but I love this team and Aggie baseball.

Yesterday it was from my living room, bedroom, car, Northgate parking garage, and Rough Draught.

I quietly left because I had to go to work. Couldn't follow along in any way. Caught one update quickly and saw we were coming back (5th run). Only when I finally was on my dinner break did I see the result.

Excited and sad all at the same time. I would have stayed on and watched, simultaneously, if I were not working. Oh well.
