Kendall Rogers has us as the 3 seed in Ft Worth, but they're the 11 overall and matched up with 6 seed Auburn. We'd play UTSA in the opening round. That would be a very favorable path back to Omaha. Gotta keep up the momentum though!

Just due to the fan situation, I would imagine that TCU might rather see OU fall off enough to be a 2 seed so that the Sooners can get sent to Fort Worth instead of the Aggies.

As far as gerrymandering goes, remember, that by rule, all 2, 3 and 4 seeds are considered equal to other teams with the same seed (all 2's are interchangeable, etc.), and that the committee is charged with minimizing travel costs. So, if we are the only SEC 2 or 3 seed within a bus trip (350 miles, IIRC) of Fort Worth, then we almost certainly will get sent to TCU (assuming they host). If neither OU or A&M host, they could send either of us, but not both.

Good - I'll take that UT. We all know tu was headed to CS well before the brackets came out last year and they horrifically underseeded the Softball team just to send them to Austin. That stuff has to stop.

Well, someone did manipulate it last year where our softball team had to play Sips in the super-regional by dropping us like 5 spots from where we should be. And last year in basketball, they made both our teams play Nebraska in Round 1 after we hired Alberts. Lol
