Had seats in the reserved seating for the 1st game and then left in the 8th to get in front of the line for the Hog Pen (GA seating in the outfield) so we could put our chairs down for the 2nd game. When we got in, we put our chairs down where a security guard told us we could. What's crazy is they allowed the fans to keep their foldable chairs in the area so they could come back in and sit there even though they were 20min back in line. We sit there and people come up and tell us to move and start calling us every word in the book telling us we can't sit there and they get security involved. The security then tells us we have to move away from where they said we could sit 20 minutes after we had been sitting there. Then the fans start yelling at me and my brother (we're both high schoolers mind you) that we're going to jail and just going on and on. The security guard calls the security supervisor over and a police officer while these fans constantly cuss and go on and on about it. 30 minuetes later and they're pointing yelling at us that "A&M is bunch of p******". Granted there were several Arky fans that came up to us to apologize for how their fans acted but a large amount of them around us were involved with it.

You should have punched the loudest one in their tooth.

It can be rough there, old SWC rivals, there is absolutely no love between us. But I am sorry you are having to deal with that. I won't go there, but that's just me.

I remember how suprised how much vitrol I saw from them when we first restarted the football rivalry...totally caught me off guard.

I think there are a lot of students from Texas that a) didnt get into A&M or tu, or b) get get in state tuition scholarships to go there that they dont get for A&M or tu.....so the rivalry it is a little more personal.

Their fans were complete trash in the parking lot in Arlington after we melted down in 2011. Made the long run against them so sweet.

If you wore A&M clothes there, then their behavior is not surprising on the road like many schools who don't police their own. But a good reminder they're not classy there.

I used to live there and their fans have no idea how to act around fans of other schools. They never interact with non-Arkansas fans since the whole state pulls for the piggies.

Additional take: When they call the hogs they're actually calling their own fans out of the boonies to inform them the civil war is over.

Sat in the Hog Pen Thursday. We got loaded with them and they were cool. I also dish it back when they talk **** so they find it funny we walked in like we had a lead cock and started swilling brown water.

That happens. Arky, and bama recruit Texas high school kids who can't get into A&M and tu. I talked to a co worker who went to bama for that reason. He and his dad were at a new student orientation and his dad talked to the school president. The president said that was their plan - to get smart kids from Texas for the same price as in state tuition in hopes they' will give back to the school even if they go back to Texas after they graduate. They have to do something to keep up with the behemoths that are A&M and tu .

I think ole miss and probably other SEC schools are doing it.

Arkansas fans are trash and always have been.

I live in Northwest Arkansas and boy does this check out. Pig fans are far and away the worst fans you'll encounter. Luckily, I've dealt with it my entire life and I've gotten hardened to their behavior. I just jaw back at them and tell them how awful they are. My office at work is full of Aggie paraphernalia. I put flags on my truck after we beat them. Take victory laps in my golf cart with a 3x5 flag throughout my neighborhood. I've learned to just absolutely wear them out and they eventually shut the hell up.

It doesn't hurt that we wore them out in football and baseball last year and all 3 of the big sports this year. It's a pretty easy conversation at this point.

I am guessing you were in good seats people with enough money to have good seats generally know how to behave exceptions exist but in GA it is the well behaved that is the exception

Sat in 117 last night. No issues, but potential for one occurred.

After I cheered for Jace's 2nd bomb, Arky husband in front of me had to talk down his wife from switching seats with him because she "loves harassing opposing fans"

When they asked you to moved, you should have stabbed them in the heart…could made about half a million in give send go donations!

My neighbor's kid will be going to Arkansas next year. When your options in Texas are to get rejected at Texas because you are not top 5%, going to Blinn but not getting your preferred major when you transfer to A&M, or going to Dustbowl U in Lubbock, the Ozarks look pretty good.

I've been to four series at Baum. I don't understand the allure of the Hog Pen, unless your priority is drinking cheep beer and eating your own food rather than than watching baseball. If you sit in the grandstand, Arkansas fans are mostly tolerable.
