At least with as terrible the white sox organization is he will move up quick get noticed and traded to a contender.

i think one of the biggest things this team is missing from last year is braden. i know i know everyone misses a first round draft pick but what i mean is his demeanor. he brought a confidence, a swagger to the team. even when he got hurt it persisted.

Totally; Montgomery graduating was a huge loss. I have watched a ton of college baseball over the years, and Montgomery is one of the all time best hitters I have ever seen. Those Stanford guys just flat out compete at the plate. Not to mention his ability to switch hit. His loss was huge, not only this year but also down the stretch of last year as well.

Big leadership losses with Braden, Appel, and Targac IMO.
