Did ticket prices increase. Not sure what I paid last year.

My seat went up about $80 between ticket and donation increase.

In 1990, season tickets in what is now section 103 cost me $40 per seat. Less than a dollar per game if you factored in the non-Aggie games of the .Continental Classic College Sports have certainly changed.

About the same. Mine went from $960 to $1,060. Still a bargain.

So...unless my getting-older-by-the-second brain isn't firing correctly...did they NOT proofread the email to make sure the prices in the text and the prices in the attached seating chart matched?

One includes the $25 ticket fee and one doesn't

Yeah, I'm happy that I got to spend time at Olsen "back in the day," because it's now more than I could afford.

Bold move with a 10% increase off of that season. On top of a 40% increase last year. I get demand and I guess good for them recognizing that but I kind of expected them to be flat this year. Oh well. I'll pay and they know it so here we are.

You wanna renew tickets or know who we're playing? Can't have both! LOL!

The demand is through the roof. You don't want tickets at a higher price? There is a line behind you that will pay it.

Yesterday,
I was able to pay for my season tickets renewal and click a box saying I wanted a chance to grade in December.

Nm… I see now you were asking for game schedule

Oh I have the schedule. I posted it above. I just think it's crazy it hasn't been released yet.

All renewed up! Ready for seat selection to see if I can move around at all. Just want to try and get my seats closer together this year…

Bold? They could have increased them 100% and sold them all out.

It's an interesting question for sure. I've said since they started talking about the massive rebuild that now appears dead that if they reprice in fine as long as I get the option to keep my current seats. Where they'll lose me is id they force me to move whether I'm willing to pay or not. In other words if they price me out it's fine but if they make me move so someone with more points can have them I'll stop going. That would seem to suggest you're right.

Just renewed. If anyone is not using a 3BL seat let me know, I need one more to make it easier on my group.

The discussion has been about baseball, but there are significant changes in softball also. Ticket prices increased substantially and a contribution requirement has been added!

Last year my softball tickets were $165 each which I thought was a very good deal. Given our success (even though it was the first team to not make it out of its own regional!), I was not surprised to have some increase!

I opened up the renewal page and I saw that the ticket price increased to $280. A 70% increase was rather significant. As I pondered the price increase, my eye noticed a new line. They have added a new contribution of $450 per seat. There are now contributions required for all season tickets!

My two tickets will have increased from $330 to $1460. That is a 340% increase in one year! I have had season tickets since the opening of Davis Diamond, but that might be ending.

I have long told people that women's sports at Texas A&M are a great value for entertainment. Those days may be over!

(These are not club seats. They are 105 above the club section. But they said that people could visit the club section starting this year.)

I assume these are club seats based on the pricing. If you decide to not renew, let me know and I will buy them. Or consider splitting with you in some form.

I'm glad the student sections are still there. Heard a rumor they were considering turning them into season tickets. That would be a terrible mistake. Our atmosphere would disappear and we would be like every other boring ballpark. We have ~40,000 east side seats for football and we should have 203/202 for baseball.

I don't think you need to worry too much about the GA seating in the grandstand at Olsen. When you host an NCAA super regional, you have to provide the visiting team 600 seats between the bases. Schools like LSU and Arkansas, who stick their visiting player comps down in the corner during the regular season, have to move season ticket holders to those crappy seats for a super regional. But, since we have about 800-1000 GA seats, we can carve a visitors allotment out of that and not have to displace season ticket holders.

Just did my renewal. Price went up $60 from last year. Price has gone up $300 since 2022. It's an increase of 98%.

Here's an idea. Why not stick the visiting section in the third base bleachers for regular season games? Is there any SEC rule against that? Other stadiums give the visiting cadre the worst seats in the house. Why don't we? Then 12th Man Foundation could upgrade current bleacher ticket holders to them.

Then they would have to do what I mentioned above, and move those folks out of their season tickets for the postseason, or shrink the GA even more than they already do for the postseason.

There are enough seats in 202/203 for visiting fans in the post season, right? They don't do GA in the post season.

My understanding is that the sell the remainder as reserved seats, some to students.

The actual seats set aside for regular season comps would only about a small part of section 201--less than 150 seats.
