KR starts out recapping the 2025 season.

Discusses how defense impacted things last year and how Earley shored up those issues by bringing on Pennington.

He thinks the ceiling is a national championship contender, but a low floor if pitching doesn't stay healthy.

Agrees with the general consensus of Moss, Sdao, Simms.

He thinks of the freshman, Kellner has a bigger role in the field and compares him to Grahovic. Says Partida is more valuable/needed on the bump. Sees Nico as a setup man.

I actually feel relatively good about our staff, so long as Sdao returns to old form. Simms looked very impressive this fall. Freshcorn looked incredible at the end of the year. McCoy and Lyons showed the ability to chew up innings last year. If we can get Stewart and Cunningham back from injury and contributions from a freshman or two, we should be in a really good spot.

If we stay healthy this team can do a lot of damage. I do get the concern with depth especially with pitchers.

The only place I'm really concerned about depth is at pitcher. We need a minimum of 8 quality arms. I'm really confident in 6, and that doesn't include any of the transfers or freshman.

This team seems to be much deeper than last year's squad, especially if Royo can be consistent at the plate.
