They should offer a refund on the Sunday tickets. I bought Saturday and Sunday ahead of time. However… coming from out of town there is zero chance I make a Friday 2 PM pitch.

I really appreciate this post. I would have had no idea. I do the all in one thing each game like most all season ticket holders I'd guess. But after seeing your post, manually downloaded both Friday games. Thank you Sir!

Nobody thinks it's fine; there's just nothing we can do about it. Call them today and see what they can do. If they won't give you your money back, see if you can get them to at least exchange your tickets for a future game that you can go to. That should be the very least they could do.

Yes, call them.... and don't flip out on them.... just say hey, I had Sunday tickets and can't make it now that the game was moved to Friday.... is there anyway I can either get a refund or swap these out for another game?

They will probably work with you I would assume.

Dude, it's an outdoor sport. Weather happens. You knew the risk when you bought the tickets.

The school is going to do what they can to get the games in. They aren't intentionally trying to screw anyone over.

I don't think anyone is mad about them changing the schedule. However… they could have done a better job with the tickets.

No reason they need to charge for Friday at 2 PM. Make that free and then refund the Sunday game.

While I can see the case for refunding individual game tickets purchased from the TMF, they never refund anything to season ticket holders. When you buy a season ticket, you do so knowing game may be moved.

As to making the game free, why on earth would they do that? While there will be people who had Sunday tickets who can't make game 1, there will be people holding those tickets who can make the game.

I don't have season tickets so my family and I pick a few series a year to attend. So, we individually bought certain days and there's zero way to make Friday at 2 PM work.

In terms of free games… it's been done before.
Yes, I know it was different time, but I also remember them just opening the gates after like the 4th or 5th inning.

Your initial thought is correct also. That procedure with the tickets has potential to be a mess.

I actually agree with that take. It is Oakland, not LSU. It is spring break I believe. Sue me. It does not hurt to show some fan appreciation on weekends like this.
