Is that wash? Lol

But yeah Vitello is 6-9 there and has had several locker room dustups. I'll be surprised if he can get it going there.

I'm not sold on Earley.
And if Tony V hits an MLB buzzsaw, I'd take him here in a millisecond

I bet he's back in the SEC in 2-3 years. Probably at UT again.
I hope I did not offend anybody with this post. If I did, please come see me at my address in my profile so we can talk.

I seem to recall a football coach who won a natty at an SEC school, flamed out in the pros, and went to a different SEC school to win several national championships. I'd take similar results here with Vitello.

F Tony V I hope he loses every game. He's a dick and it's fun to see him suffer.

That coach was not really a great coach, but he was the greatest cheater of all time. We could have coached most of those teams to NCs.

You would fit in perfectly at Bama

Saban was absolutely a great college coach. To say otherwise is ridiculous. Dude installed a culture of excellence, discipline, and his players feared him. They knew they had a good shot at the NFL if they stuck it out and "followed the process".

With all things being fair, he was a below average coach. The rest of his career was played on an uneven playing field. And as soon as that ended with NIL he got the f out.

What a terrible take. You are kidding yourself when you say Saban wasn't that great of a coach. It is reasonable to think he may not have been as successful in the NIL era, but he did not become one of the GOATs of the game just by buying rosters. That said, you can't reason with ignorance.

He absolutely became the goat by buying rosters. Remember how jealous he was when Jimbo out bought him? Of course Jimbo was a high functioning ******, so there's no comparison there.

Going back to the original point, I don't think you can compare Vitello and Saban because when Tony comes back to college he will not be able to create the same kind of uneven playfield by cheating his ass off like Saban did.

Everyone here would certainly love that, but my money is on him going to Arkansas when their coach retires if the timing with the Giants lines up.

Can Arkansas outbid Tennessee? I'm guessing they can for baseball. Who else would be on the list? LSU maybe? I'd think LSU would love to have him. He fits their culture like a glove.

You are absolutely delusional and jealous, period.

It wasn't a level playing field competing with and against lsu, UT, UGA, FL, and Auburn?!?!?!!!

He wasn't a good coach just somehow won SIX NCs at Bama, every player he had that stayed 4 years won the SEC and won or played for a NC? The most drafted players to the NFL over the course of his tenure. 17 seasons with 9 home losses.

Yeah, really sounds like he wasn't that great of a coach.

As for Vitello and Aggie hardball, I'd take him in a second. He is a grade A jackass, but if he is our jackass it's all good.
