SIAP: Was the dance team given the weekend off because it was POS's idea? They weren't at the Friday game; don't know about Saturday. I know they were there earlier in the season. Just curious.

I assumed Friday that they gave them the weekend off for POS.

They were probably embarrassed by the 12th man

Maybe they are at a competition? But, they weren't there today either. No reason to give Schloss a thrill up his leg by watching Aggie women.

Now that Schloser is gone, they should do a way with having them dance on the dugouts. It was so Schloser could be a pervert and watch them, no reason to continue it now.

Maybe it was the weather forecast of heavy rain? Get those girls some Ole Army ponchos, the green (olive drab?) ones! They could dance between innings in front of the Aggie dugout.

Not just a competition approximately 10,000 dance and cheer student athletes in Daytona for 3 days

To say the whole thing is nucking futs would be an understatement

The same organization hosted their non-collegiate Cheer event in Houston in February

Aside from giving POS a chance to perve, I do think having the dance team make appearances might not be a bad thing for recruiting purposes. It's not essential, but so along as it fits their schedule and they want to do it, I'd keep using them.

To me, that has always been weird, and doesn't fit with our baseball experience.

Our daughter did competitive cheer all the way through college. Turned out well for us, because she was awarded scholarships that paid for about 60% of her tuition, books, room and board, etc. Other than the Covid year of 2020, we and the team went to Daytona in April every year she was in school. And you are correct - what an insane atmosphere. It's unbelievable the amount of estrogen, Red Bulls, and hairspray concentrated in one city.

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)

I thought I had seen it all until I went to Daytona
we never went to a big NCA/NDA event until last year
Now that she's done what do you do with all that extra time and money ?
