I've always been proud of how Aggies treat guests. However, over the past 40 years I've seen t.u.'s under-handed way of treating conference "partners" and rivals. They make backroom deals and game the system to try to keep an upper hand. With us, they take it to another narcissistic level. They always try to make a big announcement the day before A&M is in a meaningful game. As an organization they can't stand for a rival, especially A&M, to have the spotlight.
For decades, they've treated all visitors with vitriol but expect to be treated like divas. In the 90s in Austin, I was cussed at by a 12-13 yo kid while his parents watched.
They told Aggies how we would be losers in the SEC, but had to tag along once they figured out we had a better deal. Schloss was just the latest in a long list of shots, and it seems it may have pushed things too far for most Aggies. The t-sips shoule be the exception in our normally hospitable nature. We need to make it not just uncomfortable, but miserable on the sips, to the point they second guess their decisions.
Beat the Hell Outta t.u.! Sweep and beat their asses!
