I feel bad for the people who bought expensive individual tickets to the game and it was never played. I feel like we should have gotten this game in somehow

A double header should have been played yesterday. The cancelation of tonight's game prevented us from playing a 3-game home series for the first time since 1992. Now, we will have to wait until 2028 for the next opportunity to do that.

Ticket holders have minimal recourse, seat geek guys get refunded most of the time

They basically do not pay the sellers and the buyers get to keep the unused "ticket stubs".

When someone buys a ticket from you on SeatGeek, SeatGeek does not send you the money until the game is over for this very reason.

The 12th Man Foundation is refunding single game ticket purchases. They sent an email saying so. It does say if you purchased on SeatGeek to contact SeatGeek directly. I'm assuming SeatGeek would just not pay out and the original purchaser would be refunded by the 12th Man.

The issue is the forcast kept changing for sunday. I checked it a few times Saturday & agreed we should play 2. Then I checked again and it was suddenly supposed to be clear all day.

TLDR Weathermen suck.

I did sell them on seatgeek on saturday when we saw the rain coming, but I would still have expected to receive this email since I was the original buyer.
