I'm staying at the Hilton, which is about as close to the ballpark as you can get. I've stayed at Hotel Eleo by the hospital, which is an easy drive (they had free parking last time, even in the lot next to the ballpark, if you were there early enough). I would also consider the AC Marriott, which is in the neighborhood equivalent to Northgate, and the Hampton Inn downtown.

Should be looking for a room in BCS, but crappy scheduling gave them the series home site back to back. Its total crap we have to play them again in Gainesville!
