The Action Network (sports betting platform/analysts) are high on Lamar's ace. He picked up a win vs. Kansas earlier this year. I know we beat them like a rented mule in a midweek game (25-5) so it's hard to gauge what this will look like. Also need to note that The Action Network always has "best bets" for games, and they seem to fade the Ags at every chance they get, no matter the sport. They're also gigantic Pig homers, for some reason, so take all of this with a grain of salt.

UNC has the 10th best team ERA. We get USC which is 5th I think.

Lamar's ace, Olivier, didn't pitch against Kansas this year. His toughest opponent faced was Oregon State back in April, and he went 3.0 IP giving up 4 R (2 ER). He hasn't faced anywhere near as good of a lineup as ours.

Believe me, I am 100% behind TAMU.

But, don't go to sleep on Lamar. I don't think you can draw any comparison between the result of the mid-week game and what we'll see Friday afternoon.

That being said, I will gladly root for TAMU beat up Lamar.
