Wanted to start this and share stories or help out people if you know locations are ok.

Wife has asthma. As of now at the pharmacy near us (Irving), they are out of stock for her preventative and day to day medicine "until further notice". She asked for an exact date of shipment, and they didn't know.

Seems there was a run on medicine as well. We will be researching/calling locations to find them.

Wife is a retail pharmacist. Low on everything because of avalanche of 90-day refill requests.

This run will remedy itself. PBMs will not allow refills beyond 90 days.

I have no desire to be the resident pharmacy/drug supply chain information source... I don't plan to provide routine updates.

I will say though that the threat of continued significant drug supply chain interruption is real. At its baseline, drug shortages are unpredictable and volatile...probably far more than the general public ever realizes. Planning for and navigating these shortages will likely demand most of my attention for the immediate future. I hope it resolves quickly. There's few things more frustrating than trying to take care of patients without drugs.

That's good information. I work for an international biotech trade association, and all reports from our members (1,300) is that there are no short term concerns with the US supply chain. However, several key raw ingredients come from China, and Israel is a large generic manufacturing country, so things could change in a few months. That said, I have zero knowledge of the supply system once the product leaves the manufacturer.

I refilled my thyroxine prescription yesterday without a problem. Also, my losartan prescription, too.

I refilled my advair and albuterol inhaler the other day.

The advair was delayed a couple of days but it showed up, thankfully.

I got a text that my Fenofibrate is ready for pick-up. However, when I got to the Randalls pharmacy, it was closing at about 7 minutes to. I'll try to get it tomorrow.
