So far all is well in Zambia - no cases here yet. But it is creeping closer. A case was confirmed in Namibia that shares a very short border with Zambia.

We were pleased at worship this morning when prayers included people around the world who are being affected by coronavirus and specifically the US because "Johnson and Melissa have friends and family there."

The CCAP Moderator and General Secretary were visitors today and urged the congregants to begin preemptive steps to avoid a crisis here - stop shaking hands, wash hands frequently and in general, practice good hygiene.

Please keep these people who are praying for you in your prayers. Chiwemi pamoza (we're better together).

To be honest, not sure. The Ministry of Health has said they have them. My guess is they would get them from China.

Self quarantine would be difficult here as most folks don't have electricity/refrigeration and depend on daily trips to the market for food. On the other hand, most travel is on foot meaning in the rural bush, most people don't travel to far from home. Fingers crossed.
