Wife has been reading that a link of cases in France for the young needing ventilation was anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen use. While Tylenol use was fine.
Any links or evidence outside of the telegraph and guardian being posted?

Something about nsaids boosting ACE2 or whatever the protein is.

Then I'm screwed as I'm on a prescription anti-inflammatory for my knees. More info would be welcome. Found an article.

Hmmm. Like to hear the CDC's take on this. COVID also known to increase LFTs 3-5x baseline. So taking high dose acetaminophen could worsen that. Though I haven't heard of any liver failure cases.

I've seen that recommended on my emergency medicine networking sight.

As for Tylenol, up tp 3 grams a day is fine even if your ast/alt is a little bumped

I let it run its course. A fever is a good thing - means your body is responding. It sucks, but why prolong it?

I don't even think we have Tylenol in the house. Ibuprofen is all we use. FML
