What are the creative or good ideas out there to support local businesses? I know I'll be getting some food deliveries in the coming days to support both the kitchen and a delivery person. There's gift cards.

But anything else?

[And I don't mean "go to the bar anyways." Nor is this a place to debate government decisions on shut downs, etc..]

There is a local pub that I typically hang out at for a couple hours once or twice a week. I am in the over 60 demographic so we are trying to limit our exposure before we really get a handle on this virus. I am planning to order take out and buy gift certificates for myself to use later to help them through. It's sad really because its not the beer or the food I will miss as much as all the **** talking between me and the other regulars and the staff.

keep your contracts.

Currently DH and I have membership/subscriptions to a few local businesses. As long as we both have jobs we are keeping them.

The servers and bartenders will be the hardest hit at these places. Kitchen staff will still get hours when they have to go to take-out only. The rest are fooked
