Just curious if anyone will share if they personally know someone who has died due to Coronavirus... not names or anything, but just basic info like when they died, how you know or are related to them, age, where they lived, etc... and any other info you can or would like to share (how long they were in hospital, their initial health, how they may have contracted, symptoms they experienced, etc).

And that certainly is your choice.
The point would be to offer a chance for someone to share/vent, and allows for others to offer their condolences (similar to when threads are started on Aggies when they pass)... but also to share information and get stats on the last thing we want to happen bc of this virus.

WTF do you expect when something this unprecedented has happened? When people's lives and livlihoods have collapsed in a matter of a week? You're damn right people are sensitive...and now is the time for all good people to be compassionate.

A friend's uncle passed away. He was in his 80's and lived in Italy. Hopefully thats the only connection I end up having

She died? I didn't see that she died. They were rushing her to the hospital, though.
She has not died according to that thread. She has been hospitalized but no update beyond that.
