Data is used collected from the Covid Tracking project. It doesn't appear to be all inclusive as it is gathered from the states, but still good to see the ramp in the last couple of days. Testing and separating is key.

The plot's only increasing because they are testing more people!!!!

Oh wait, that's the point of the plot.

This is good news. Hopefully we will be able to ramp it up even more. The 4-Hour rapid swab is promising and will be a game-changer. Need to get them out there, and just as importantly need to get the lab equipment out there, as quickly as possible. A lot of health departments already have plans to test the general public en masse via drive up centers, have everything else ready to go but they don't have the test kits.

Our problem right now is it still taking 2 or 3 days to get a result. A few highly suspicious cases got swabbed on the 16th and we still don't have results.

So if the point of testing more people is that you separate those that test positive, what do you do with those who test negative?

As soon as they walk out of the testing facility, the test is no longer valid.

So when this number plateaus and begins to decrease, we can all go back to eat out and shop and go to work?

Or nah?

Because no one knows exactly what the end game here is on all this???

We don't have local testing capability, sent to one of the state labs who are still (apparently) only able to process as few dozen tests per day.

I think they will want to extend it past that point, unfortunately. People are too dumb to keep from finding themselves in large crowds and we'd just be right back in square one having to start all over again.

My hope is that we will have efficacious treatment options to the point where we don't care as much that people are getting sick because we are able to limit the scope of severity, get people out of the hospital faster, and keep the hospitalized patients out of ICU. I'm hopeful the drug combinations being trialed right now and the warming spring weather may get us near that point sooner rather than later.

Pharma companies are coming online daily. We'll be able to test 1mm people a week before you know it.

People keep kissing SK behind and yet they've only tested 275,000 people total.

WE NEED TO FLATTEN THE TESTS PER DAY CURVE!

This idea will work.
