I have a sister and her two daughters that have been living in Australia for nearly two years. They see their window of opportunity to get back to the United States rapidly closing and will be traveling home on the 24th. We can't seem to find an answer on if they will be quarantined, where they would be quarantined (at final destination or upon entering the US), or if they would be allowed to self quarantine. Does anybody have any experience with this recently during this crisis, or know who we should be directing these questions to?

Per press conference either yesterday or day before instructions to all repatriated Americans were to self quarantine.

They are supposed to self quarantine but sadly many do not.

That's what we were hoping would be the answer. I just thought it interesting that they were going to be allowed to enter the country and then continue on sure their final destination.
