I get the sentiment but you have to understand that we've forcibly shut down the entire economy. It would frankly be more alarming if we forced them to close their doors then didn't make them whole again. That's setting the stage for complete disregard if God forbid we have another event of this magnitude. Telling them they're on their own when this is over is just completely impractical.

Because China's negligence and blatant dishonesty in how they handled this thing in the early stages is directly responsible for the global nightmare this virus has become. Now after all of that they have the gall to try and blame us and threaten to withhold meds from the US? Eff them. I hope we use this to bludgeon them over the head and work towards a world where we don't trade with them at all. It's galactically stupid that we buy so much stuff from an openly hostile nation that uses our money to spread communism.
