What are the four things you do, in order?

I'm thinking....

1) Massive upscaling of PPE and ventilator manufacturing.
2) Vaccine development started
3) Antibody testing developed and massively distributed
4) Development of flexible/movable hospitals (or the ability to rapidly convert hotel space into COVID-only treatment space) to quickly combat outbreaks in the field.

Question....in the still-no-vaccine future should we begin setting up COVID ONLY treatments centers?

Yep, that looks like a pretty good list!

The docs here may set me straight for I know nothing about it...but I see the number of medical personnel who know how to operate a ventilator being massively expanded through training in the foreseeable future.

Leslie Groves was a single issue dude. The best analogy for him would be how do you develop a weapon to kill COVID-19. Industrial production was handled elsewhere during WWII.

I would also screen unemployed people for health conditions and offer them employment in logistics/care facilities to support medical staff instead of automatically sending out what amounts to unemployment checks. I don't care if they are artists/musicians/restaurant servers. They have some translatable skills to give service to those doing the heavy lifting, even if it is running food and coffee to them.

Just for the record Groves first built the Pentagon in something like18 months , then the atomic bomb. He was a guy who got things done.
