Obviously vacations etc aren't high priority right now. But, what are y'all doing with scheduled vacations (paid deposits) say between mid June til mid July? Also, what about your kids' travel sports tournaments during those same times? Just curious if I should go ahead and cancel or keep waiting.

I've got a clearwater beach and disneyworld trip for early July. Not optimistic it's going to happen, but its 3 months from now, alot can change.

We have no idea when we'll be able to return to Zambia but we had booked a trip to fly fish for tiger fish on the Zambezi in early June. We haven't canceled but doubt we'll be able to return by then. We'll probably make a decision by early May.

We've also booked a trip to Gangehi Island in the Maldives for early September - figure there's a 50/50 chance but I'm probably being generous with my odds.

If things are cooling down here, might try to book a trip to Bozeman for some fishing in early - mid August. Who knows?

I doubt you're going to want to go or if many of those things will still be happening but no rush to cancel yet. I think you can evaluate about 3-4 weeks in advance. Things will look very different in the beginning of May then they do now, sadly I am not sure it will be for the better but your decisions may be easier.

I moved my flight to Ireland from early May to early September.

I had been planning my stays there, but hadn't booked. If the summer tourist season is as bad as I expect, I will likely save a ton of money by going in September versus May in a normal time.

I have a Disney Cruise set for July. I don't expect it to happen, but waiting until Disney cancels it. We're going to spend a few days in Miami, so if canceled, we may just extend that.

We have a trip in late August planned that I think we will go on and my wife has a book tour in July that I'm optimistic about.

We have tickets to see Hamilton in June and sadly I don't think that's going to happen

Alaska cruise out of Vancouver in early June. Royal Caribbean says, as of now, they expect to resume sailing most ships starting May 12. However, the port of Vancouver is closed until at least July 1, so that rules that out. Even if it wasn't closed, we'd be taking advantage of their credit/reschedule offer. Now, we are just going to take the full refund.

Norway in August for 18 days cancelled.

Mrs. Hollywood and I are over 60, so probably for the best.

Plus, got nearly full refund (less $500).

Headed to Destin in June. Hope it's blown over by then. Everything is already booked.

Mountain house at end of June for 10 days with 6 family members. Supposed to be a wedding, but I don't care if it cancels we are still going for family vacation barring apocalyptic scenario.

late July flight to Boston, then 2 weeks in Maine and Canada. My flights were all points on Southwest not sure what will happen if we are forced to cancel, I haven't yet.

We already cancelled our annual summer trip to Mexico this June. Several reasons for this, 1) Mexico is probably going to be hit hard, probably around that time too. 2) That is an extra mortgage payment just incase anything happens with employment. 3) We are members, and there isn't a charge for cancellations. We can always go back next year, or even later in the summer if this goes away.

We're basically postponing all travel for at least six months. It's just not worth the risk as we have two mothers with stage 4 cancer and we're working hard to keep them healthy.

Best friend has a destination wedding in FL in July. Haven't booked plane tickets yet, will go by myself if they have it instead of taking the family.

Over the past few months I've begun practicing mindfulness based stress reduction meditation to deal with stress and anxiety. As I got into it, I was reminded of the peace of fly fishing and several times while fly fishing I felt I was in the zone. I actually googled fly fishing and mindfulness and found a number of articles on the subject.

My wife and I have a two week vacation planned for England and Wales at the end of June/early July. I'm cautiously optimistic that we'll still go, but the UK needs to get their sht together.

Welp, my wife and I were supposed to celebrate our 60th birthday's with a trip to Italy in early September - Florence, Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, Rome. Already paid for the plane tickets and a hefty deposit for the hotel in Positano (sp?). Who knows what state Italy will be in by then. We haven't canceled anything yet.

1) whether to cancel the 4th of July celebration?
2) whether to open the city swimming pool for the summer?

We're supposed to be going to Branson in late May. May 1 is the date by which we have to cancel to not lose our deposit. Hmmm.

One-Eyed Fat Man, I've been following your postings fairly closely as my wife is from Zimbabwe, and we were planning on visiting her family who now lives in South Africa in May. Obviously, those plans have changed. I too was supposed to fish the Zambezi with my FIL and my son, but we'll have to put that plan on the backburner. I'm praying for southern Africa (and all of Africa, to be honest) as I think this is going to hit them extremely hard. I heard on an interview yesterday that Zimbabwe only has 7 ventilators for the entire country. That's unimaginable by our standards, but that is what they are facing. Anyway, sorry for the derail.

I'll probably plan another trip with my son to Texhoma for stripers.
