There may be some theoretical increase of ACE2 receptors (which is the protein binding site that allows the virus that causes Covid-19 into cells) when taking NSAIDs of any type (Aleve/naproxen, ibuprofen/Advil/Motrin, aspirin, along with others.)
However the WHO retracted their recommendation against NSAIDs after further analysis of data and are now only "recommending" Tylenol/acetaminophen/paracetamol use instead.
There have been no scientific studies that actually show worsening of Covid-19 with NSAIDs, but the theoretical risk still exists.
