My uncle, as mentioned previously, is on a vent in SA. He started feeling ill 22 days ago. He was admitted to the hospital a week later where he tested positive for the coronavirus. He's been on a vent for the last 13 days, stable but no big changes for better or worse. Can he still be positive and capable of infecting others at this point? Or are we basically just battling pneumonia at this point? Trying to speak with doctors and nurses is understandable hard so I'm asking for a little input from you guys.
