By athletes I mean from professional to highly trained "general population". This was prompted b/c of how Zach Prescott received negative press for his pics with people he was training with and the not "social distancing" in the pic. It got me thinking, has there been a case of professional, college or highly trained individual getting a serious case of Covid-19 after testing positive (some pro athletes have tested positive obviously) and has there been any correlation between being in very good shape and that minimizing any effects of Covid-19?
There has already been a Texags poster who is a triathlete who had it on here and recovered after a pretty bad experience but was never hospitalized and has asthma and required meds.
Just curious if any doctors out there know of anything related to that and if anyone knows of any studies being conducted from a strength and conditioning standpoint or who could point t me in the right direction regarding this. I'd love to do some research in my down time of which I have a lot. Thanks in advance.
