Hey guys,
Just wanted to look for places doing serology tests. I am curious and want to contribute since I had all the symptoms but never got a real Covid Test. I saw ARC Point Labs in Fort Worth were starting them. Any other places you have found. I am willing to drive anywhere in Texas.

From what I can tell. Only one approved test under EUA. Not sure what mid-high level labs have it, but it looks to be rare.

My brother is getting one at ArcPoint in Sugar Land. He swears that he had Covid in January and wants to show his RN wife that he is right.

Not sure but I think I read that you need to be a confirmed case first before they will allow you to donate as an antibody carrier.

My wife signed up too. She didn't show any symptoms, but was around me for the entire time I was sick.

She did however have flu like symptoms in February, but tested negative for the flu.

My brother's test was negative. His theory was that he had it when he got real sick in January.

Tested negative for the antibodies so not sure what to think of that. My symptoms were identical. If that wasn't corona then whatever I had sucked just as bad. Has to be a false negative Or coincidence of getting a similar infection and pneumonia

Do you know the name of the company that supplied the test? There are already several companies producing them and some are more reliable than others we are finding...both false positives from cross-reactivity and then there is always the sensitivity issue

FDA set to approve this week or next, so I just bought it and we got to the top of the list for a DiaSorin LIASON XL instrument. Will be used for operations and research.

We'll be testing the heck out our employees and staff - it's a big tool in getting us back to work!
