I am hopeful that number will be cut in at least half the day they let us get back to work. Unfortunately, a large portion of health care workers have had to furlough their staff due to not being able to see patients or complete non-essential surgeries.

my wife is in this category. Today is her first day of furlough. Even when things start opening back up, i'm not sure how long it'll take for all the offices to re-open and her to be back to work. She's lucky in that she will be one of the first of the furloughed to return, but it could be months.

I have seen estimates of something like 20m to 30m people impacted. Hope these are wrong but we aren't there yet I am afraid.

He doesn't sound offended. Just pointing out, as you already did, that this is the wrong forum. I care about the oil in my car, but I don't put it in my gas tank. Put stuff where it goes.
