Wondering how much of this documentary is true? Would love to hear from our docs / experts here. Or is this a tin foil hat cover up?

- basically COVID didn't originate in seafood market
- 80% protein match with bat coranvirus known as far back as 2007 with multiple published papers supporting
- concludes this is lab derived

Someone would expertise would have to provide context. Some questions I can easily derive with no knowledge of infectious disease:

1) Is an 80% match even that close? I honestly have no clue.

2) Even if they are closely related, does that mean we take any protective action every time a potentially infectious virus that hasn't impacted humans is identified? Viruses are extremely common. I wouldn't be shocked if new ones are discovered every day that *could* impact humans but how do you prioritize which ones to pursue understanding, more the less how to detect, vaccinate, etc.

This article is solid. Was referenced in the video but better than the tin foil spin.
