My supplement supply is running low. All stores and online stores I can find are sold out. Anyone know a good place to find some?

I actually got mine from Kroger curbside. Amazon shows both available with prime delivery by the 16th.

I looked last week and had trouble finding it online.

Eventually discovered bodybuilding.com had a ready supply.

Quercetin? I have not heard that name related to covid19 protection? I am sure it's good for you but did I miss something?

I thought the magic combo is C and Zinc?

It appears the magic combo is a healthy diet and exercise. A good overall healthy lifestyle really comes in handy for these kinds of things

If you have been following the Aggie doc thread. Zinc will keep virus from replicating inside your cells. However it needs another chemical to let it get into your cells. That is why the Q supplement. He also says to take vitamin c and green tea.

This from Dr Coates (Reveille) on the main thread

Now make sure you are doing what you can to stay safe now and after the peak also. For those of you asking we have been through the supplements in detail in previous discussions. Here is a short summary for those who missed it.
Zinc any amount is probably good but take what you can tolerate without making you feel bad upto 50mg. You do not want to be Zinc deficient as it is how many drugs like HCQ work.
Quercetin from 250mg up to 1g twice per day Remember this is the Zinc ionophore.
Green Tea either drink some or 1 pill per day
Melatonin 1mg to 10mg at night. Take what you can tolerate and what helps you sleep without making you feel drugged or tired in the morning.
Vitamin C 250mg to 500mg twice per day. Effects debatable in oral form but IV did help in China
Vitamin D3 Take this if you are deficient but besure to stop it if you become sick as this drug works by increasing cytokines and potentially could exacerbate the cytokine storm.
Sleep greater than 8 hours per night

Consumer Labs rated this particular product their best pick for purity and concentration level to the stated label. I'll mix it in my smoothie with Zinc.

Amazon link to bulksupplement product

I also get my zinc from them.

From the Coronavirus/COVID-19 News and Information Forum Covid-19 Update Aggie Physician (Reveille)

Dr Coates - "But let's give a quick refresher for those who are new. Zinc when inside the cell blocks the enzyme replicase which is what the virus needs to replicate itself. This is great except that zinc has a 2+ charge and cannot cross the cellular membrane. So we need an ionophore to get it across the membrane and let it work."

Investigating the differences between 50mg Zinc Picolinate (ZP) and 'straight?' Zinc. Seems the body might absorb the Zinc in the Picolinate compound (which I assume is a good thing). However the 50mg ZP might not contain 50mg of pure? Zinc.

Any thoughts on using ZP vs straight Zinc?

What Is Chelated Zinc and What Does It Do?

Quote:

What is chelated zinc?

Chelated zinc is a zinc supplement that's easily absorbed by your body.
Because it's difficult for your body to efficiently absorb zinc on its own, zinc is often attached to a chelating agent in supplements. A chelating agent is a substance that bonds with zinc to create a more absorbable end product.

Quote:

Which type of chelated zinc has the best absorption?

The more easily absorbed types of zinc supplements include:
  • zinc picolinate
  • zinc citrate
  • zinc acetate
  • zinc monomethionine

What is the quality of supplement from HEB? I buy B12 and Vitamin D regularly, but I may be paying far too much for them.
