China - Round 2?

Just got an email from a guy on our shift at work (who is currently assigned to the Emergency Preparedness/Response Team) that he has seen that China is now preparing for a "Round 2".

Anything hear of something similar? I'm not watching any news these days so maybe it's common knowledge among those still subjecting themselves to the news cycle.

I think we are all planning on and expecting this to break out again next winter / fall. But China getting another round of it would be concerning.

Hard to know what's real or not coming out of China.

Regardless I think we need to all but stop travel to and from China.

Once the dust settles I hope we keep a hard stance on that.

Edit: Maybe I've misread you.

I'm saying we've mandated certain business shutting down under a very arbitrary set of rules. I'm saying those businesses should be able to be opened back up under extreme caution and strict guidelines. If they fail those, then shut them down. And yes, we'd likely have a slightly higher rate, but we'd still likely be under the curve. Some of us just think there's a better balance here.

I also saw something yesterday about the towns closest to the Russian border are being hit hard now...

Taking temperatures are "lockdown measures"?

That lady hasn't been to China in 20 years. She sought asylum in Australia 20 years ago, and then picked a fight with the Australian government and has lived in the United States for a decade.

This has been the scene in Moscow for the past month. I hope for the sake of the Russian people their government hasn't ****ed them over.

Pay site but there are indications they are locking down other provinces now. You have to really go after Taiwanese papers to get this info though.
