My name is Greg Knell '05.

I am an epidemiologist and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at UTHealth School of Public Health.

My research focuses on behavioral epidemiology - studying behaviors and how they relate to health outcomes.

I am working with my colleagues on a project studying the impact of the coronavirus outbreak and subsequent stay-at-home orders on health behaviors and outcomes.

If he didn't specify at birth, then transgenders would likely have given their incorrect one. He is actually trying to get past the political correctness by phrasing it this way.
