voluntarily get a shot of live Coronavirus? Would you attend a Coronavirus party similar to what people did with the chicken pox back in the day?

what percent of the population do you think would do the same?

if these studies are correct and it turns out that the death rate is no different or very similar to the seasonal flu, then I would think it would be similar to flu shots, some people never get them, others get them every year. I have never got a flu shot and I get the flue once every 7-10 years...

Im ready for the antibody testing, I had a mild case of something in February that lasted 8-10 days with slight fever for about 6-8 days.. I think I may have had it and it wasn't bad at all, much less then the flu that I got 3 years ago that's for sure

The thing that would scare me most would be the possibility that you never actually clear the virus. Some of those anecdotes from people who are having weird persistent symptoms for many weeks after they clear the initial infection are worrisome.

I rarely get the flu shot (maybe every 3 years)...not proud of that, and I definitely will be getting it going forward to protect others and myself.

With that said, I've actually never in my life had the flu. Guess I'm lucky? And I would definitely be getting a vaccine as quickly as possible for covid. If the death rate is the same as flu, it sounds like the possible hell you can go through is much worse...and I've heard the actual flu is nasty.

Where are you located? There is antibody testing at various locations around the country.

yup like chicken pox, that never really goes away, it just hides until you get shingles later on.

The actual flu sucks. I got it in January of 2019 my second time in life with first time being when I was around 12. People that casually throw around that they had the flu over the weekend or missed a day of work with the flu didn't actually have the flu. It takes your ass out for about 5 days. Mine wasn't even all that severe but the fatigue from it effectively made me useless.

Regardless, this thing sounds like it has a wide range of outcomes with most of the time it being minor. I wouldn't ever voluntarily to take a shot, but we all need to get back to work and tackle this thing head on.
