The East Bell County Coronabusters thread got locked. I thought it was cute and exactly the kind of thing I need. My wife worked two night shifts in a row in the ER the last two nights (Aggie doc...whoop!). She comes home and I can't touch her until she showers. Then she gets to tell me about the patients she interacted with the previous night that may have had Covid...and then I go to work and she sleeps. And then she gets up and helps the kids with their homework. And then I come home and we have dinner and she goes back to work.

But God forbid we have a little levity among all the bullsh-t going on. Least we forget, that's how most all of our people, be we Czech, Hispanic, Jewish, African-American or whatever we are got through the hard times, with music and singing and dancing.

So lighten the eff up people. And God bless you all.

Well that's what I'm saying.....99% of people are just trying to make it through this. The constant arguments back and forth between these two "sides" aren't really helping anyone. Stuff like this just may be. Just my stupid two cents. What do I know, I'm just a dumb Bohunk.

Agree with Bohunk. I agree it's not sharing of information, but seriously what is the harm in trying to brighten the day of people who DO read this board who maybe don't go into the general board, because that's apparently the only other place where his original thread technically belongs? Maybe it brings a smile to a doc who's had a pretty rough day.

I know you're explaining why it was locked, but I don't know - I come to this board for information, but I also don't mind one thread out of 30 intended to lighten the mood a little bit, especially when the OP is not trying to make some point with it. Also especially when we have repeats of multiple topics.

Not looking to start a fight. Just throwing my support out there for a little light-heartedness in a sea of serious discussion.
