The WHO and China came out earlier in the week and said it didn't work. Not sure where you saw too early, they straight up said it doesn't work (while China was also trying to make its own version of the drug and patent it).Crocs said:
Probably the only drug he's had something positive to say.
And if you want something negative to talk about, the WHO is saying it's too early to comment on the results so attack them

Funny that Fauci supports this but trashes the HCQ/Zinc/Zpac, when we're not seeing much difference in outcomes with these (meanwhile, this is about a grand a dose versus like $10 for the trifecta).
So is the new conspiracy that this is a ruse to charge higher drug prices?Wendy 1990 said:Bingo - $900 vs $10AG 2000' said:The WHO and China came out earlier in the week and said it didn't work. A trial in China testing Gilead Sciences Inc's antiviral drug, remdesivir, in those with mild symptoms of COVID-19 has been suspended due to a lack of eligible patients, according to a website maintained by the U.S. government.
The study was conducted by researchers in China and the suspension was posted on Wednesday on clinicaltrials.gov , a database maintained by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Criteria for inclusions in the study included a positive COVID-19 lab test, hospitalization with fever and cough, and fewer than eight days since the onset of the illness.

WHO - There is no evidence of COVID19 human to human transmission.
After putting out that statement i have become automatically skeptical anytime the WHO starts a sentence with "There is no evidence".
...meh; what ever gets your feathers ruffled I guess.Quote:
The January WHO tweet reported "preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission".
But in the same week top WHO officials were briefing health leaders around the world to keep looking out for signs of such transmission, and to take precautions as if it was already happening.
