I saw where the restrictions were lifted for travel in from Louisiana. The only thing I saw for California was for air travel. Are people driving in from California into Texas also subject to 14-day quarantine?

Buddy of mine got a letter when he reentered from Louisiana that said that a DPS agent could do random checks to see if he was actually at home. Not sure if they ever did or not.

I know a guy that moved back to Texas from California in April. He drove it a couple of times without issue to get his cars here and in a Uhaul.

coworker of mine flew into LAX the weekend before last and came back to DFW. Was told to quarantine for 14 days for going to SoCal....DPS took his info...he didn't quarantine and nothing has happened.

no they are not

They arent anymore. Troopers that pulled you over right inside the line( from Waskom on I -20, where i am from) would give the info to cities and they could if they want send officers to check. And they did.

yeah that would be stupid. if you are sick...stay home...if not 14 days is excessive and ridiculous.
