Have there been any studies done other than the Chinese study from early April that indicated only 1 of the 7,000 or so cases was from outdoor transmission?
Here is more information than I can understand on droplets and transmission indoors. Isn't the same as outdoors but I will guess that outdoors is less infections with increased airflow. Did a hike last weekend and it was way more crowded than normal with all the state and county parks closed and options limited. Probably passed 30 people on the way up. You would be walking through the expelled breath for many steps after each one of them. And then at the top was a rock formation that who knows how many touched during the day.
Would be good to know the real risks on excursions like that. Not that I would stop likely, but might take a few extra precautions if it's relatively risky.
