Semi off topic, but long after this is over that will be the debate - how many people actually died from it and who counted correctly. We know that lots of countries are likely undercounting (China, Russia etc), we also know average deaths and where we are against that, some places are counting probables some aren't, some are missing nursing homes some aren't, so the statistical analysis when this is done will be really interesting.
My personal guess is that we are somewhat understating it in the developed democratized world but not by a lot, but way undercounting in most other places either because of politics or lack of ability to test. Who knows how many people actually died in China - and Russia is reporting a death rate under 1 percent. With the health of that country that seems highly unlikely, even with decent reporting and testing.
