Ive been trying to follow most of the rules with social distancing. I'm finding myself less and less concerned as this thing drags on. I guess if I had a family member or friend that had tested positive I'd be more concerned. I have about 20 golfing buddies and I asked them if they have any family or friends that tested positive. Of the 20 people 2 guys had a person they knew. One was his ex wife's sister that lives in New York and the other knows someone at his church. So real friends other that someone they know at church but don't interact with.

I know this virus is serious but I'm wondering if I'm just lucky or the norm when it comes to family and friends that have come down with this virus. I can come here and find numerous posts from Covid impacted people but Texags reaches thousands.

I'd like to get a feel who knows someone fairly well that has had Covid.

So there's like 320MM people in the US and only like 1.4MM cases.

Do the math, it's not that common.

I know two, a local mom in Collin County, and a high school friend who lives in Naperville. A good friend has seven family members who passed it to each other. One of them died.

There are quite a few people posting in there about people they know who've gotten it. Generally, I think a large majority of people here in Texas probably do not have someone close to them who has tested positive.
